Adviser’s Minute – December 2025

My Brothers in Kunamokst,

It is my honor to serve you all as lodge adviser. I am excited to see how our youth leaders will shape Kunamokst over the next year. You have a strong youth officer core that is made up of youth from both previous lodges. They all are dedicated to making sure the new lodge builds new traditions, while honoring the traditions of the past. I have selected a strong adviser core to work with all our youth officers with a single goal that each officer succeeds and gains leadership skills along the way.

The principles of brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service should guide everything we do. I encourage all of you to focus on serving others above yourself. With the upcoming holiday season, let’s remember that cheerful service is not just about completing tasks; it’s about the attitude we bring to those tasks. The joy we find in helping others strengthens our lodge and makes a tangible difference for our council and communities. Let’s make sure our service moments are filled with genuine cheerfulness that inspires others.

As Arrowmen let us not forget that our primary focus should be in serving our units as Scouts and Scouters. I firmly believe that if Kunamokst brings value to units we will see membership growth and increased participation.

Yours in Brotherhood,

Joe Raade, Lodge Adviser
